Here’s the beauty in it: he was not allowed to suffer. They tried to treat him and when it wasn’t working the care team decided to do the humane thing of putting him down. He was kept from a prolonged painful end and was instead surrounded by all the people who loved and cared for him during his 20 years at the aquarium. What a loving way to transition to the next life 💜
