im lebanese and also live in lebanon. YES they are real, they essential have parts which they install into said old cars(in a nutshell), and NO it isnt EXPENSIVE (as opposed to buying the actual thing) cuz the price range in lebanon is absurdly low (if you are rich). ik people will ask if its legal, but that doesnt matter cuz half of the sh^t lebanese people do is legal and country/government doesnt give one flying f^ck. so yes, you can legit go get a whole new car model instead of buying the real thing (if performance doesnt matter to you).

I might get yelled at for this take so be it, but I kinda dig this. Extensive refurbishment like this is essentially what most airlines do for their airplanes. If you get on a Delta B757 in 2025, a plane that has been discontinued since 2004, it likely has been refurbed to the bone like this with new avionics, flight deck, cabin etc. It’s nothing like how it was when sold new in 1998 or so. I think there could be a market for this. Of course they should be honest about the car’s status when selling it (don’t pass a 2006 as a 2025 lol) but I dig it lol.
