it's honestly sad how common it is for abusive people to say that they don't know why they are like that. they know what they're doing is wrong but they don't know why they're doing it, it's definitely a sign that there is something severely mentally wrong with them.

Do you think it's weird that he doesn't talk about being happy with his girl with the guys? Like he doesn't even talk about what has been going on since they last talked or met up? His reasoning is, "well....two are single and don't have a girl, it makes them feel bad". That's why the girls are never invited out when they go somewhere. We are left out. Why don't they have the "guys only nights" & then we all can have a night out together with the girls? Like us girls would like to talk and see hang out too. lol

My other half doesn’t have a close relationship with his parents but when the time comes, I’ll be there for him no matter what cause they are still his parents & sometimes an estranged family members passing can be equally as traumatic but for very different reasons.

Good for her! Relationships should make you feel safe and feel like you are being treated well. Accepting a relationship where you are not always treated well but not horribly is disrespectful to yourself. What's the point of wasting your life on a relationship that doesn't satisfy you 100%? It's easier to be alone.
