I had a similar situation when I got caught in a monsoon in Austin with my fav Gucci Jackie bag and the tan leather bled everywhere all over the denim areas of my bag. I would go back to the store and just show them what happened sometimes it’s made from a split leather on the strap areas which isn’t as strong and when you add moisture like that, it just starts to disintegrate. Just take it into the store there. My issue is that I have to bring my bag into an American store versus Canadian so I would do it down there.
