I enjoy crockpot meals for the convenience. I do agree the house smells delicious when you’re using a crockpot. The barbecue sandwich is delicious especially when you add the coleslaw on top of the meat. What I like with this meal is this is quick and very convenient Without all of the hassles.

30 years ago someone told me that when using bottled barbecue sauce, pour it out and refill the empty bottle with 1/3 of the way with water. Pour this out. Add light corn syrup to taste- approx: big bottle use 1/4 c . Taste the mixture. If you like it sweeter ( I do) use more ( or less to taste). Bottled sauces are never sweet enough for me. I do this every time I use bottled sauces ( my favorite was KC Masterpiece ( original). Just sharing… if this is not for you, don’t follow it.
