@aliiceofficial: Definitely NOT a fan of this MASSIVELY abused tool Yes, I am a fan of technology and tools that save us time but some tools can really take away from the necessary learning curve and deprive you of skills that will really come in handy down the line. I personally believe if you are incapable of delivering this final performance through rehearsal and practice, then it is a lie. Correcting pitch here and there is fine and a wonderful time saver when it comes to comping your final take, but recording with AutoTune ON and using it heavily throughout the entirety of postproduction is not only lazy but takes away SO much from a singer’s performance, makes the voice metallic and skips over beautiful and necessary dynamics that make our voices real and help us connect with the listener. Use it to your discretion, but keep your end goal in mind and remember it will not and cannot replace proper vocal training, give you genuine endurance for touring or the stage and will lessen the emotion in your voice. This is my opinion, call me old fashioned, but I prefer playing the musical game on Hard mode, it has made me work harder and be better for it.
