No one actually eats fudge. It’s what you buy as a gift for the person at home who is watching your dog or watering your flowers while you’re on vacation. They will put it on the counter when they get home and toss it out after a week or so.

One time I went to Joann's and asked for orange chocolate, but when I got home it was not orange, but regular chocolate (the employee accidentally grabbed the wrong one because they look the same and they put them right next to each other for some reason). I emailed them just to (politely) suggest that they not put flavors that look the same next to each other and THEY OVERNIGHTED ME 2 PIECES OF ORANGE! Ever since then, Joann's is the only place I'll buy fudge from when I go to the island. Amazing customer service!

Since you're already in the U.P. .... I HIGHLY suggest a trip to Pictured Rocks. it's about 1.5 hours from where you are now. If you want a great view, check out Pictured Rocks Kayaking! Love seeing others appreciate the state I love ❤️
