This is such great advice. I always say this to artists who go on about how saturated it is. We are actually quite lacking in GREAT music. I don’t think true talent and hard work is saturated at all. Also, I’ve made literally 2500 dollars at one show on merch! Building a core fan base and actually asking for support, having merch and just keep working on being a better artist.

These videos are amazing!!! I’m not sure if you could answer but how would you navigate finding a good producer (as a singer/songwriter with already written projects? Would you recommend someone who wanted to produce their own music and be an artist to go to music production school ? I play guitar and sing and I’m interested in getting classically in piano trained and go to music production school to learn theory and how to make my Own music. I’m sure that all the information is available to me but do u think a degree with the connections that come with it is worth it ? I also am an actor and would love to contue that side aswell.

I feel the same way, I think people just don’t do the work they need to. Not to say it’s not hard but there are so many paths to be an artist in today’s landscape. We’re not perfect as a band by any means and we could always do more but it’s nice to hear someone not so pessimistic about the industry.
