Hmm… my hubby is retired USAF. He used to deploy for 3-4 months at a time, EVERY year. Never even thought about finding someone else. This guy is just using the situation as an excuse. He is not committed to their marriage.

Let me be EXTREMELY lenient. Even IF he was SOOO lonely during these months, and even IF we completely exclude that she was literally in the same situation (as in she was also apart from him during all this time), Im pretty sure he can make do with his own hands and the company of some friends for 4 months while his WIFES MOTHER IS DYING.

I understand the pain you must have gone through but does someone seriously think its ok to leave your partner for 8 months. All of us went through Covid and have some sort of understanding of being alone and not have physical interaction with anyone. Forgive him and move on

Well, he’s lonely he could be lonely or he better call that lady back up because he gonna be lonely divorced. I would not put up with us at all. See you wouldn’t wanna be here my poor Aunt had to go through the same thing on her. Dad was dying right after her mother passed away. Her father was passing away and her husband left her during it.

He wasn't grieving anything because he was so busy doing his co-worker. I would divorce him and take him forever. Ything that I could and then I would go either no contact or low contact with everybody else that says I need to forgive him.😡😡😡

I can’t even! When my father had stage 4 lung cancer, my partner was there all the way….we so only live 20 minutes away, but still I was basically out there allllll the time for that 6 months, and he’s be waiting for me to come home so i could cry on his shoulder and didn’t expect anything more because I couldn’t think of anything other then dad. For this woman all I can say is I’m glad she didn’t get pregnant prior to finding out who this man really was, and that’s a selfish pr!ck. Do not waste any time with a man that wasn’t there for you during your absolute hardest time
