In Brazil, I make 15,000 dollars a year (which is above average, but not extreme). With this salary of 15k per year you can live wonderfully well, rent an apartment in the central area of a major city, and have a great lifestyle (paying around 500 dollars for a place with a master suite and three bedrooms). It’s bizarre how high the cost of living is in the United States.
