I’m glad she got out even for a short time. She looks so happy. Dementia is so hard because even if you show her how happy she is once settled she will still have anxiety about the process. I’m so happy she was at the Kentucky Derby this year which made her so happy.

I know you’re soaking up every single second and what a blessing you are to her. Be so grateful for all these videos. Wish I had some of my grandmother!! I miss mine more than words can say or describe. She passed away several years ago and sometimes a wall of grief h1ts me right in the face.

Do you have a hoyer lift? Then you could lift her easily to her chair to go out. Even lift her into the car.
