it’s like saying if a diamond doesn’t cost a certain amount it’s fake. there’s so many factors that go in to how much gems (and literally anything else) costs

i got a pretty sizable pendant piece in one of the towns they get it from so mine was only 50 bucks since it's local. it's a little bit more than half the size of the bigger one you showed. it's genuinely one of the fanciest rocks i own and i wire wrapped it myself to wear as a necklace
