I don't defend it. the pacing of one piece is genuinely my only critique. and it makes sense why they do it. it is a weekly show so they need to stretch episodes to fill slots. but damn so much repeated animation.

I started one piece a month ago. I have never fallen asleep to a movie/tv show and rarely fall asleep midday but dude I've genuinely just dozed off a dozen or so times so far. it has its good parts but I just can't recommend anyone watch it if they value their time

someone said One Pace is "for people who prefer faster paced stuff"... bro one pace is THE normal pace, what they're doing in the anime is adding nothing but prolonged scenes that doesn't add anything to the story

when %40 of a show can be cut without loss of content, then that's simply filler. One piece is half filler (horrible pacing and 8 minutes of recap each episode) 🥀
