The moment I started doing double run my HR immediately went down but I couldn't keep it, my nutrition/sleep wasn't there.

“Higher stroke volume.” Not lower. Man you’re close to the secret though. As close as anyone I’ve seen in TT.

{3 month runner but 4 year lifter} how do you maintain muscle mass? Is it better to do a double run day vs lift and stack a run?

Doing 4 day of heavy lifts and running the remaining 3 days (one interval, one long run (getting it up to 5k), one easy run). Just started running in the beginning of this month. Should I add more distance on my lifts day?

I run about 80k or 50 miles weekly spread over most often 6 workouts. Do you recommend increasing the distance let’s say 20 miles weekly before starting double runs for lets say 2-3 times a week or starting double runs right away? Thx 💯

How long did it take u to get your HR that low? So the longer mileage is where u really started to see that zone shift?

Right now I feel like my “easy runs” are always at 160-188 HR but I’m pregnant and I run everyday from 3-8miles a day. Do you think pregnancy makes my heart go higher? Because I feel good is just my heart

Hey man, thanks for the content. 8 weeks out from a marathon and coming out from the Berlin block. Does adding double threshold sessions once a week for the month and a half makes sense in your opinion? Trying to push the mileage avg from 55 to 65/70!

Real question - I aim to lift and run most days - Which do you prioritize? How do you split up your week??

I don’t have a coach at the moment like a physical coach I don’t think I’ll be an elite because of that.

Just want to add that the +10% a week mileage is fine but I’d recommend doing like a 3 weeks of increase and one week backing off a bit as it allows adaptation and reduces injury risk

I run 3 days a week with a normal split being 8 (zone 3), 8 (threshold/intervals), and 12 (long progression run). Is the next step to split the zone 3 run into 2 days of 5? I just don’t feel productive when I run less than 6. But obviously 10 is more than 8 and it’s an extra day so I’m torn.

Bro I want this, but I’m so time limited and I’m insanely slow. Can’t build fast enough tbh

What are your thoughts on running on a treadmill? I have a 20 miler tomorrow: 10mi convo pace and 10mi MP @8:00. I love the thought of setting an 8:00 pace on the tread and just focus on the running
