I’ve never seen commissions list body type as prices. Just the amount of body in the image like a head/bust is less then a full body bc there is simply less work in drawing a head/bust BC THERE IS LESS CHARACTER TO DRAW. I have seen ppl charge more if a character has EXTREMELY detailed patterns or something that the commissioner is specific about getting 100% correct with no wiggle room. But never body type restrictions. And I’ve been on the internet and in commission spaces for 20years. If someone has that listed I’d find another artist honestly 🤷♀️I’d pay more for someone to change my characters body type tho but that’s bc I have trouble with same body syndrome and sometimes I need to see my own babies in a different body to make it click in my brain.

so in all fairness for species as a furry artist, doing a regular fluffy dog with a couple colors as the design is WAY easier than a completely scaled dragon with plated horns, big wings, detailed maws etc. i do a $5 upcharge if the design is hyper complicated and dragons tend to be T_T It's like difference between drawing average clothes and straight up complicated armor for me

My prices changed a lot depending on a lot of factors but I actually did the opposite and if you gave me the most common (in media) body types ever to draw I'd charge a bit more bc the way I hated drawing them constantly...
