That’s a fact. Back about 30+ yrs ago when my Great Aunt passed, to walk into the funeral home, we had to walk by an outdoor mausoleum & the smell could’ve knocked you down. Idk if 1 of the crypts wasn’t sealed good enough or what but ik mausoleums have improved greatly now & Ive never smelled it again when I’ve walked by any of the outdoor mausoleums at that cemetery. I have smelled animal human decomp plenty of times. You’ll def never forget that smell.

I helped my husband clean purge out of his transport van. It was a very small amount but we had to find it.

I do the neighborhood watch here at my apartment complex and I walk around and sometimes you get older people here that pass away and when I walk by the door sometimes I smell a foul odor and when the apartment complex does their inspections they find out that that individual passed on.

I will never forget the smell of my daughter's friend that had passed away from a bad car accident. Not to sound graphic but he broke his neck so bad that it was recommended to the family to have a closed casket. The dad refused and the funeral home did their best that they could. I was one of the very first ones to see him at his viewing. When I walked up to the casket, I could smell the odor that his body gave off. It made me extremely nauseous for the rest of the day that I could not eat. I was pretty traumatized from his funeral that I had nightmares for a long time.

I smell a smell what I can’t describe before someone dies, i can’t put my finger on it but its never let me down ever which is freaky at times esp if i go into a hospital ward etc 😐

I have to tell you I used to buy old properties and flip them before I started building new homes and I can tell when someone died in the house because the stink stays in the wall you actually have to cut the walls and my friend owned the master franchise for serve pro and they had to clean up a dead body that had exploded and I gotta tell you I got out of the car. We were in the parking lot of the condo complex and I just startedpeeking all over the place. I don’t know how those cleanup guys did it.

It’s has a weird sweet smell also . There’s a fungus that grows in our garden that gives off this smell, it’s called a stink horn and looks like a 🍆, it uses flies to spread its spores This is in ireland , does this grow in the States ?
