People romantize Victorian era too much without understanding their situation, almost 90% of the population were in poverty back then. Yet everybody Ignores that fact

Jesus Christ is king. :

SPREAD THE GOSPEL: (Psalm 34:18) "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted." God will always be near you when you need Him most and at your lowest point. Don't give up. No matter how difficult life gets, God has a plan for you, and I promise He will heal you. Just put everything in His hands. The rapture is going to happen, whether it's today, tomorrow, or centuries from now. It's drawing near; the prophecies of the Bible are coming alive. Repent and believe, Jesus is the Messiah. He will forgive you, accept you. Accept all His children. Believe in Him, repent, forgive your neighbors. Love everyone, even if they do things you don't agree with. Jesus would want you to forgive them, as He does. Forgive each and every one. It's not too late to repent. I'm not forcing my religion, I just want to see you all in heaven. In the name of Jesus we say?

So many writing about slavery, but slavery was actually ended by European countries and they also forced others to end it 👀

Not That Dude :

Some of those people fought and died to give us things like a five day work week and 8-hour days. There were striking workers who were massacred by the actual military fighting for better working conditions. And what did we do? We forgot about them and romanticized the very villains they struggled against.

Nothing changed, just technology made us see suffering from all over the world at once, instead of just seeing it in your country or region.

AshRich :

That’s been the story for all of time. It has looked different at some points in time, but it has always been the harsh reality.
