I know a guy :
I always just check across the fuse. if you get a Votltage reading the fuse is bad.

Always gotta stop and watch your videos. Working in industrial maintenance and I always see if I’d go the same route troubleshooting as you do. Also see a couple things that I normally wouldn’t initially check and gives me ideas of stuff to look out for

I always go across fuses and switches when checking them then do the ground to terminal test and follow up with pulling and checking with the ohmmeter. I’m just paranoid lol
