It only works like that in US tho. In EU theres barelly any package, very rare honestly and it is just like a special time offer when the car is either brand new, theres some milestone or anniversary, or the car is running out of the life cycle. Normally you get the base car and you have to equip everything, so like with the A5. You get 2.0tdi 150hp fwd car and you start. S-line interior, s-li exterior, engine, seats, assistents etc etc… But since it was at the end of lifecycle last year, there were packages, for example Gravity package gave you for like 3,5k$ matrix LEDs, full asistent/comfort package only missing 360 view and head-up display and so on, which normally would go for like 5-6k$ just trying to spec it all by your self. And thats the reason why in EU is way too many weird specs, like fully loaded 2.0tfsi fwd A6, or on the other hand base spec without parking sensors etc. 340i… Its really up to you, so if i have 70k€, you can either get “luxury” without engine, or you can’t get engine withou Luxury… Or safe extra 30 and get both🤣🤣

It’s a better system but not a hugely great one. By doing this ur dilution higher level trims, less ppl buy the bigger engine car cuz they alr got the interior on the 2 litre

The only German that does it in uk is Mercedes with premium/premium plus. U search for any used bmw/audi in the uk even like an m340i and the most they usually have is like the tech pack. A lot have literally no options

I been saying Audi are so simple A/S/RS/Q/SQ etc etc, 1-8, base model, s line, black edition, they keep it so simple and it works

Meanwhile Audi and other german premium manufacturers don’t do trim levels in Europe. The first owner gets to customize the car however they want. So there isn’t Audi A5 prestige. You can tick options or option packages.
