Im no contact with my mother and every time she would reach out and I would try to talk to her it always dissolved into her being the victim and I was abusing her by asking her to adhere to basic human decency which she shouldn't have to because "I made you".

Haven’t spoken to my dad in almost 10 years. Told him about himself and then stopped calling him. Never blocked him or not answered a call. He just never made one. But telling my siblings “she’s mad at me for some reason” 🙄

Every word. I went NC w/mom 5+ yrs ago. I have hundreds of VMs & emails even when blocked. Never once does she apologize, take accountability, & not “spew venom” or “I’m sorry you feel that way”. Best decision I made for my survival.
