A Christianity led by emotions is not true discipleship—it’s self-deception. Jesus said plainly, “Why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?” (Luke 6:46). True faith means denying self, crucifying the flesh, and letting Christ’s Word—not our passions—be the guide. The choice is simple: either Christ rules your life, or your own heart does.
