Unpopular opinion, but this is basically what happens in Guillermo Del Toro's Pinocchio because Pinocchio wasn't even mentally mature and he was literally pressured into resolving everyone's personal problems to prove his worth to his papa, and through that, he was losing his spark and he had to wear a "happy mask" to hide his real emotions. I don't hate the movie, but I don't like that Pinocchio's trauma was kinda unadressed.

Harry Potter and I hate how it's handled because Snape was so right about Dumbledore. Dumbledore very much could have done it himself, there was no reason to make Harry suffer through everything while also letting him find so many friends just for him having to die in the end (yea he came back, but I doubt anyone knew that would happen)

One trope that I dislike is 'the enemies to lovers' specifically with a man and woman like just let them be enemies?? Sometimes it feels like a woman and a man can't be enemies without falling in love.

I honestly have problems with the "chosen one" tropes in general, don't get me wrong the trope can be done well and even have interesting twists and turns to it, but quite literally if we're sacrificing a child's entire innocence and life to saving the world and solving its problems I have a bigger question for the world WHY THE CHILDREN!?!

I majorly hate that one trope in superhero movies where the heroes are actually doing more work than police and yet their society sees them as a threat because villains kept popping up, coincidentally because the hero was there despite the fact, literally how useless they are towards a villain, who has high tech weapons or abnormal powers, and yet always disrespect the hero, despite them having good intentions
