One thing I don’t understand… when you’re driving fast on the highway and not looking ahead… I understand that this trailer driver broke the rules, but when you’re going at least 60 miles per hour, why wouldn’t you look straight ahead?… I think the trailer driver has nothing to do with it. :)

Accident or not, in my opinion, someone shouldn’t have a CDL if they can’t read road signs or understand basic English. Safe driving takes clear communication, and without that, everyone on the road is at risk. I’m working on getting my CDL, and I still have to follow every local, state, and federal law, plus all DOT rules. CDL drivers are held to a higher standard than regular drivers, and honestly, I think he should go to jail for putting lives in danger.
