Going on 7 years, getting out because of stenosis, 3 protruded discs, 2 masses on my spinal cord and annular tears. I’m not sure what to do now

I got out last week, on the way home I was on the phone with my brother (who is an active duty Marine) he asked how it felt and I told him “it feels weird, I kinda want to go get arrested and see how that feels” it’s such a weird feeling especially after 10 years.

Nah it’s cuz u realize u can’t have a power trip anymore and this is the real world where rank doesn’t dictate how or if u can speak to that person or not and u actually have to think for yourself not just wait for the higher ranking person to tell u what to do.

Drove out the gate and l felt like nothing no farewell like nobody cared like it didn’t even happen. Just gone and never made a difference anywhere. Sucked for me cause l had a good 4 years. Got out 1981 El Toro

I've been out 30 years and it hasn't changed for me. I work with people young enough to be my kids and talk to none of them. I have zero friends. divorced twice. it has been a constant struggle to find a reason to keep on going. I actually talked to a prior service recruiter about getting back in the Corps, but I was too old. that's me- day late or a dollar short
