Not illegal in any state. Depends on the course, they kick you out or tell you to put your shoes on. Or simply what I prefer, nothing. Love playing barefoot.

so laws don’t actually extend to the course, but course rules do, you can’t get a ticket but you can get kicked out of the course. “barefoot golf is actually illegal in some states” no it’s not. and a google search proves that
