Headcanon: Jax has Borderline personality disorder (BPD.) Typically BPD can develop through childhood, but in rare instances it can develop in Adulthood if they experience severe trauma and emotional breakdowns in toxic environments. Jax has emotional breakdowns, he is unable to form stable relationships, and he pushes others away due to trauma responses and he self sabotages or hurts himself mentally or physically. Jax is afraid to show vulnerability because he doesn't want to form relationships because he is afraid of losing someone who he cares about. He bullies people out of habit because he rather let them hate him than to build relationships because he doesn't want to suffer the pain of losing them. Borderline personality disorder can vary depending on the person, but Jax has developed it in his adulthood. Intense emotions, broken relationships, and severe trauma responses, self-sabotaging, and self-harm is a huge indicator of BPD. Overall this is a theory, I won't diagnose him with it unless the creator confirms it.
