Good time to remind everyone that Dylan calling 911 would’ve changed nothing except the time you got the news. It would’ve been 7 am instead of noon but they would’ve still been dead. Start blaming the murderer not the victim

As a nurse, I once read a case study about a trauma patient who had a phone in their hand. In that disoriented state, unsure of what was real, they recalled trying to tell their fingers to dial 911—but the only number they could remember was their childhood home phone. They also thought they had simply “fallen asleep,” but it was more likely that they blacked out and were in shock. This is a medical phenomenon driven by our hormones to help us survive. The brain reacts to protect us, and we often disassociate. Our bodies and brains can go into Fight, Flight, Fawn, or Faint. The fact these girls could speak is incredible.

It was excruciating to watch. Starts with the cop listening to country music driving there believing it’s just a girl passed out. Then you hear his voice crack when he sees the reality inside the house. Murphy being led out was also sad. The whole video is tough to watch.

for anyone still questioning Dylan just remember that in this body cam video she is putting the pieces to the puzzle together on what she heard in that moment she is processing every noise with a different perspective bc she now knows something actually bad did happen.

They were 19 & 2 others were 20 aka underage. It was hoco weekend and were all drinking. She clearly has anxiety and and tried to rationalize it. She’s now I’m sure realized what she should’ve done. Leave them alone

hearing the officers react shattered me. i just know that they lost a piece of themselves that day. this was a small town with very little violent crime, so i bet many of the first responders there hadn’t seen something this brutal. i truly hope that they all have been given the proper resources for therapy if they feel they need it. and for those kids, god i can’t imagine. they’re so much stronger than they know.

if Dylan had walked out of that room, it would of been the Idaho 5, I believe he sat down in zanas room to take off protective gear, it saved her.

That officer at the end casually saying on the phone ‘you better get back in town, we have a quadruple homicide’ right in front of those kids who did not know for certain yet is abhorrent and cruel and unprofessional. Shame.

since the beginning, my heart has always broke for dylan. that poor girl went through the unimaginable and still gets painted out to be the bad guy in this. i have so much empathy and compassion for her, i pray that she is able to heal from this and find peace. my heart goes out to her :(

We had a homeless person living in our student accommodation for a month and everyone assumed it was someone’s uncle or whatever. And he stole stuff in the laundry room. Living in a student house is a weird experience and many weird things will happen. Scary things too. It’s so easy to say stuff like that about her when you’ve never been in that situation. I will defend Dylan with my life.
