As a server at roadhouse this is 10000 percent true, sometimes we are on a 5 minute hold on bread and these people lose their damn minds.

not TR, but the complimentary bread is $1.50 for four slices if they want it before they order an entree. not drinks, not sides, not pizza, but an actual entree that comes with the salad and bread course

Roadie here.. this is soo true. If bake goes down people will literally refuse to order until they get the bread.. I’ve experienced first hand when our mixer went down.

I've worked in customer service in some fashion most of my life. I could never be a server. Servers are a different breed of patient that doesn't exist in me. Absolute respect and a big tip when I go out to eat.
