As an allergist I see mold concerns often, I offer allergy skin testing, council on typical allergy symptoms that molds can cause and recommend removing yourself from the moldy environment. That’s it. No “mold toxicity” exists

I've had multiple patients ask me to "check for mold in their blood" and I had to (kindly) explain that if they had detectable mold in their blood they would likely be in the ICU right now...I was wondering where this was coming from!

I love when they push alkaline diets because to them our bodies can be too acidic. Ma‘am our stomach acid needs to be acidic and our blood pH is pretty constant otherwise you‘d be in acidosis and on the brink of death.
