@salopianhistorian: Britian’s Most Evil Man You’ve Never Heard Of. Explore the dark legacy of Thomas Thistlewood, whose diary reveals the brutal truths of plantation slavery in 18th-century Jamaica. Uncover the violence behind Britain's sugar empire. #history #slavery #abolition
Thomas Thistlewood is absolutely not an abortion. Thomas Thistlewood is the best representation of the global white culture. This is why he was never punished and his wealth continues to enrich his descendants.

People think slavery was just forcing people to work, but it was so much worse and psychopathic than that.

My daughter’s father is Jamaican and she recently did her DNA and family tree, turned out she is 26% Scottish on from her father’s side and a direct descendant of the Archibald Campbell 1st Duke of Argyle and also John Sinclair from Caithness. Yet also her great great grandfather could only found listed as property. Imagine having to content with being a descendant of an enslaved person and of those that did the enslaving. Jamaica has had to come to terms with this history and yet look at how Britain has treated the Windrush generation

Christopher Columbus wrote this in his journal about the Indigenous Americans he met when he arrived: "They are so naive and free with their possessions that no one who has not witnessed them would believe it. When you ask for something they have, they never say no. To the contrary, they offer to share with anyone."
