Asml isn’t the secret sauce. Taiwan Japan Korea US all have them. The secret is talent and Taiwan and China has more than anywhere else. Customized software on top of asml machines. That’s why Korea and Japan yields can’t compete against tsmc. Of course China has the same but they’re not making commercial chips, they go in to military applications first like satellites rockets robots drones jets hypersonic missiles space station. China doesn’t care to export chips they want to build the application layer

No ASML use lithography machines to inject circuit patterns on the silicon wafers then chip manufacturers like TSMC use it for chip production. TSMC is the company that every tech company depens on their chip production
