went in at 7:30am for induction on my birthday. was SO EXCITED to get my free Starbucks when I was done. gave birth at 9:37 pm. 🥲

my husband asked "so after this is over, do you want canes?" while I was in labor otw to the hospital. I angerly told him I didn't really care about it in that moment (very filtered version). fortunately he knew I actually would care and got me canes as my victory meal that afternoon. technically my first meal was hospital eggs+ bacon but it was pretty good so I can't complain.

Had my son at 7pm didn’t make it up to the postpartum floor until after midnight. When I went to order my jersey mikes it was closed. I sobbed. Then I asked the hospital for something to eat and they told me cafeteria is closed here’s a fruit cup 😞

told my man if i don't have a 3 tier sushi and sashimi boat (yes, it must be a BOAT!!! a pretty boat tray... bamboo hand carved but i suppose oak would do too) on my lap mere minutes after i give birth i will literally never forgive him and i'm not joking even a little bit. he asked me what if they're closed or it's the middle of the night i said if you don't hire a sushi chef to be on standby no matter if it's the middle of the night or not u are dead to me.

My husband orders my favorite cold cut sandwhich as soon as I hit 8 cm, and my mom picks it up and waits in the parking lot to hand it off. I passed our 3rd to my husband for golden hour so I could have that sandwhich. 😂 I hope she gets her sandwhich!
