I come from multiple family branches that started Jamestown in 1608 and the Mayflower. I want to know all my history, the good, the bad, who did what, how we got where we are. If those of us related to those who did wrong and weren’t the best, but were part of the journey we got here, are ok with the story being told, why are we worried about folks who come from later Europeans letting them dictate what parts of our story to tell. Tell it all, we are all related. We don’t want to repeat the past.
