As a vascular surgery resident, this would be a game changer! Always wear lead, and use the ALARA principle, but no hybrid OR & complex endo cases :(

I just stood up for myself & told management that I needed lead that fit me & they claimed they don’t order customized lead so i argued the lead they have doesn’t properly fit me. Especially as a rad tech we need lead that FITS CORRECTLY!!

I use lead every time on cases that are going to use fluoroscopy but sometimes docs end up doing fluoroscopy when it was not planned😬😫

As an Electrophysiology Tech, we are very close to Xray/Flouro machines all the time. We have our personal lead but sometimes it’s one size fits no one..
