@_thisiszoe: We need those wise words from all the Mums out there… What do YOU wish someone had told you when you started your journey into motherhood? (And please don’t say “don’t do it 😂😂😂) #pregnancyjourney #ivfpregnancy #ivfsuccess #newmum #mumtiktok #mumtobe #mumlife #mumtips #pregant #advice
if babies crying non stop, give it a bit of formula. goes against all breastfeeding advice but I swear I've got ptsd from starving my baby. if the formula doesn't stop the crying, fair enough it wasn't hungry, but if it does, you'll be happy to you tried it and stopped your baby starving.

My favourite is ‘everything is a phase’ meaning when they cry at 2am or don’t want to nap it’s all a phase.. but also so are those first baby smiles and newborn scrunch’s .. remembering that in both hard times and good really helped me 😌

If you want to breastfeed learn about cluster feeding and what it means, take the help when it’s offered even if it’s hard, trust your instincts about everything 💘

It’s ok not to bond straight away or even for the first wee while, you both are meeting for the first time 💕

Don’t forget yourself, if you’re lucky enough to have somebody to give you a ‘break’ even if it’s just 10 minutes, take it!!! Don’t feel bad for still needing time for yourself, it makes you a better parent when your cup is full too x

Be kind to yourself! It’s so easy to get wrapped in all the things you “should” be doing, but by just loving your baby and intuitively listening to your gut, you are already doing the best. You will know what feels right for you and bub ❤️❤️

Don’t listen to the negative “just you wait” comments 🙄 Just you wait for their first smile, first giggle, first time they reach their tiny hands out to you 🥰

Remember every day is different, take it as it comes and let each day be different don’t put pressure on structure. Look at a day as 24 hours not “day and night” 😄

Don’t become the expert on the baby, if your partner takes the baby then go and rest!! Let them figure out their own way too ♥️

Don't feel like you need to buy ALL the stuff, get the essentials, and buy the extras/gadgets when you are trying to solve a problem - nearly everything can be delivered next day if needed!

Social media can be a scary place and people love to share bad experiences and their horror stories. Every pregnancy, birth, mother, baby and body is different. This journey is unique to you and no two experiences are the same 🥰💗

Colic or Silent reflux, if this happens to your baby just see the midwife or GP! The amount of advice we had from people insisting it was Colic and it wasn't!
Also, you can never have too many muslins 😂
