There 10k once you finish basic and then 20k after you do your trades course another 20k after you resign after 5 years an 20% raise for new sign ons that’s what they told me when I sign up basic is 9 weeks and and they no longer have the entry test! So if you want to join do it girl it’s worth it right now with all the grants!!

Basic training isn’t that bad it’s more about teaching you discipline and building basic fitness. Essentially teaching you millitary culture. Just don’t join the infantry and you’re fine. I did training with probably a dozen women they only really struggled on the ruck march which was 13k.

Being a flight attendant on VIP transport is super competitive and taken from the ranks, you don’t join to be one and then you only do set contracts.

Idk my friend signed up. He lives in Victoria now but visited recently, his flight was paid for, his hotel was paid for, he got like $80 per diem, they pay for his rent, then he gets deployed for 3 months straight.

I did the same thing when I was in college, wanted to join the reserves and drive tanks for fun....after doing the competency test (I think thats what its called), the printout listed all the jobs in the military that I can apply to, I remember cook and pilot being in there, also "intelligence officer" 😀 ...sign me up, James Bond stuff...went to the intelligence unit office which was incidentally in the same building as the test...the guy there was struggling so hard to contain his laughter...he politely told me then, they don't accept applications from outside the military 😳 never ended up joining or seeing the he inside of a tank
