idk if this is a vent but watching your friends struggle while youre anxiously attached is so painful. Ive been so worried about them that i barely slept at night and constantly had nightmares. I genuinely felt so useless while watching them only get worse and worse

they have scars, divorced parents, has a homophobic father and a horrible sleep schedule. How am i suppose to help them? Even they don't want me to worry for them. I live so far away, meeting online is fun. Until they have problems. At this point, let me sacrifice my life for them.

the thoughts of making them worse because of me instead of helping them keeps filling my mind everytimw i try helping, yet if i dont help them i feel so useless, selfish, and arrogant. i was just scared of my own words, my own actions, and my way of thinking i cant help but to overthink after i tried helping, do they find my words helpful or hurtful? even if they say that it is helpful i just can't believe it, i keep re-reading the conversation, over and over again hntil i get sick of it, not stopping until i find one or none mistakes

Honestly I only continue to help if they put effort into getting better. Draining your mental and physical strength for someone that asks for advice, receives advice, and only coming back without even trying is NOT worth it, and I’m speaking from experience. To everyone out there that’s pushing their own limits for others, just remember that sometimes it’s okay to say no. You need space to say no to others to say yes to yourself. It seems selfish, but it’s called surviving. You can’t help others if you yourself is broken as well

I can't comfort people, but I give it my best to do so. I usually try to make them forget it or cheer them up. I feel so useless because I can't even give small advices to them. I feel like I'm not even helping whenever they do need help.

lowkey I don't care if they see this or not but the fact I'm also attached to them is another level of worrying like I barely sleep, and I always get distracted thinking a solution to their problems and trying to help them, but is like their not listening to my advices I just can't, I feel useless.

sorry for venting but: im trying. i really am. i just wish she understood how much i love her to bits, and how awful id feel if she just… went. shes too young and she is a lot to me. if she did that to herself, i would tear myself apart and sew myself back together without organs. i wish she understood.

i literally lost a friend who i saw grow up infromt of my own eyes and even at some point saw them as a child of my own get worse amd worse which evemtually led up to them doxxing my friends ☹️i was supposed to protect them☹️☹️
