Yet the CEOs will still be making bank after the layoffs.

While yes, John Deere is being affected by tariffs, their right to repair policies have also lead to a downturn in sales, the fact that farmers can’t fix their own equipment and need to pay a subscription to get any service at all doesn’t help.

I saw an interview with Trump where he said that he was using sarcasm when he was talking about lowering groceries. So to him, it wasn’t a lie. It was just a joke.

Well, it sure does sound like we're great. Like, really great. Probably greater than we've ever been.

To clarify, those 71 deere workers at the Waterloo foundry are being laid off, not fired. Regardless, these are worrying times for anyone losing their job right now. Thanks to tankles and his moronic tariffs, crop prices are low so farmers can’t turn a profit. Meanwhile, imports of the raw materials needed to make the parts have skyrocketed. Then there’s his strange vendetta against wind energy, which is used to energize the furnaces in the foundry. All this unnecessary economic struggle could have been easily avoided with miss mam behind the desk.

You used to be able to get soda for $2.50/3 to 4 dollars for a 12 pack and now they’re like 8.50. I am giving up soda. I can no longer afford this bad habit.

I will never understand why a company will take their users and employees, sacrifice their livelihoods, then shrug their shoulders pretending to not know where their customer base went.
Not completely true. I know the reasoning, just not the long term motivations.
