Productivity of diminutive -le is definitely a spectrum because I’ve seen it it before the FNAF example from Homestuck’s fake TV show, “The Squiddles” (obviously a small squid). An individual is a “squiddle,” but as a group they’re “squiddles.” Fun fact, the Homestuck animation and music teams worked together to make a Squiddles theme song opening and a whole album!
