it's crazy that some people have to prepare for this. I live in canada the most we get where I live is intense thunder storms with branches strewn across the road. I couldn't imagine living somewhere where id have to prepare like this

If you live in an area that's prone to hurricanes wouldn't a fire box be better for important documents and don't they sell waterproof bags ? so you could to put them in for peace of mind. either way its a good idea.

1.Just prop your flashlight pointing toward the ceiling you will light up the room better. 2. If you are expecting such a bad hurricane that you need to put your documents in the washing machine so they don’t get flooded and wrecked then what you do is take your passports, important documents, put them in the folder and take it with you when you evacuate.
