I know im super duper late but as a teen looking for a job (with autism) please please try find an autism friendly one! It wont say it but for example, i worked part time in a small pottery cafe, it was super laid back, you had the ability to create things which is a good outlet and the job itself was pretty easy in a cafe, i know adults need different jobs and things and you may have additional needs or other things but finding a job that caters to your interests and needs helps a lot, their is something out there for you you just need to find it!! 💕💕 Best of luck i hope you are doing super well noww

People will argue against this but i’ve seen how autistic people are treated in regular workspaces. not everyone is right for certain high stress jobs but even at lower intensity jobs, the coworkers and even managers are such bullies. listening to an entire group go around and say awful things that have nothing to do with the work was so bewildering

Yesss I quit every job and my dad thinks am lazy for not working. I am going back to school and I refuse to work and feel bad at a job🥹😇. They always complain you need to talk more like leave me alone.

As someone who's older I find in the work place I'm not allowed to be autistic bc of my age and gender. I literally have to mask on the day to day to not lose my job. I think that's a lot of autistic women's experience tbh.
