I've been working and fixing small engines for 36yrs and I mix my own fuel and I tell all my customers to mix their own fuel always

I’ve had several machines come into the shop that had true fuel in them that wouldn’t run drained cleaned the tank and new filter and no more problems. Don’t recommend using it

Changing the mix like that won’t help. That is just the fuel/air mix. The oil is premixed. If it doesn’t have enough oil in the mix choose a different ratio. Screwing with the carb won’t help.

I put it in all my two stroke tools for years . never had an issue. Ever . my neighbor uses it to no problems either.

Never a fan. Get a new gallon gas can, gallon of non ethanol or 89 octane & red armor oil and have better fuel and $ left over.

Non ethanol for sure. My Shendowah lasted 25 years and for 5 years I had 33 yards

I have a BR 450R. I run 50:1 stihl ultra hp full synthetic with 90oct non ethanol. No fouled plugs , no lean No H/L adjustments

Why do people run tru fuel? It’s like 20 dollars a gallon. Just buy non ethanol gas and mix it yourself.
