Very possible it’s the oil filter. If it’s a FRAM, I guarantee it’s the filter.

I have a 2020 Silverado with a stage 1 tsp cam and 11lb pro charger boost and my truck has no low end torque and has power of 499hp is the tune just bad ?

My ls2 in my trailblazer went from 23-25 hot idle to around 12 hot idle and made zero noise. pulled pan and found lots of bearing material, sent for a full build and #2 rod bearing was gone,rod wasted and crank chewed.

Yea my 6.2 ss dropped to 15 lbs so i parked it drove it the next day at hot idle it didn’t drop passed 25-28 with a stage3 btr . Pulled the oil pressure sensor replaced it . Possibly oil pick up seal . I’m replacing my oil pump and the seals

Do these Camaros have an oil pressure solenoid that bleeds off oil pressure at low rpm? Several brands have them and they're known to fail as well

lol ... Chevy absolutely never has oil pressure terrifying how low it gets.....but they run forever

Hopefully it doesn’t have one of them orange oil filters on it! That could cause your issue as well

I’m having the same thing happening when my engine oil gets up to temp (215). The engine is a 418 LS3 and made a little over 550 whp. My engine builder recommended switching from HR5 10w-40 (his original suggestion) to GP1 15w-40 and also changing to a different oil filter. I’m hitting the track tomorrow so fingers crossed the hot oil pressure is a bit higher.

any advice on why my bone stock 2013 ZL1 with 80k miles sees a 48psi cap on cold start and warm WOT? trying to weigh out all my options here before i pull the motor 😅 i’m seeing about 27-30 on hot idle and cruising below 2.5k rpms it stays around 33-40
