It's pure narcissism. They want a candidate that perfectly aligns with everything they want and don't think about the fact that there are 300+ million people with their own opinions, priorities, and struggles. A president is supposed to be for everyone which means we have to compromise sometimes.

There will never be a perfect candidate! You gotta pick the lesser of 2 evils. Red or blue. Hyperfixating on a dream candidate is useless. So is voting green, they’ll never win. Not voting all is co-signing another republican presidency
