He is a man who pardoned convicted felons of January 6th for the simple reason that they committed to those crimes in support of him. His grift is truly astonishing , such things as the Trump crypto currency , Trump university, trump steaks, the list goes on and on. Lies consistently about the 2020 election and does everything he can to undermine our system of government. The gerrymandering in Texas is a recent example. I grew up conservative because my parents told me how to think politically. They spoke badly of our neighbors who voted the other way. It was engrained in me as a kid to just “get by” with other that voted democrat. My parents listened to Rush Limbaugh and Fox News. They told me what I should say to my classmates after Clinton was elected. I’m currently pretty much in the center politically but even as an adult my dad is still trying to dictate to me who to vote for.

I’ll just choose one thing you said, Rule of Law. Trump has broken, bent and twisted the law to his own purpose. Not only breaking norms, but shredding our Constitution and the balance of power between the branches of government. Too many examples to list, but we say cult because Trump can do no wrong in the eyes of MAGA, even when he does illegal and immoral things.

If you are for trump it shows who you are…..a racist. Talk about rule of law..Trump is breaking so many constitution and federal laws. People are literally being kidnapped off the street by masked men and treated so inhumanly..not allowed medicine, lawyers and basic human rights. So many republicans say they are Christians but totally act opposite what their teachings say. Republicans think white men should be dominate to all others including women. How did we go from a country coming together collectively after the 911 attacks, regardless of political party affiliation, to one side wanting to protect foreign terrorists and criminals illegally here in our country? I think you’re missing the point. I abhor Trump as does my sister. She has written my parents off, I have not. You have to understand - we don’t see “Patriotism” in a Trump supporter. We don’t see a “nation of law” kinda guy when you elect a felon. And Trump’s claims of Christianity are as fake as it gets. You’re not a Christian because you claim to be - it’s in one behavior. My oldest daughter literally yelled at me in front of my 2 yr old granddaughter saying i support a rapist, a racist, a misogynist, and that I don’t care if she grows up in fear of being a women and that I’m disgusting and that she hopes my granddaughter grows up to know who I truly am bc of who I voted for.
