Yup! I just lost a 35 year friendship because I was verbally attacked while my friend sat there then started to chat with the attacker while I just sat there completely ignored by her, her excuse? It’s not really my battle to be in… alrighty then imma see myself out. And when I mean out I mean all the way out. My friends battles are my battles and I would’ve stood up for them no matter what.

When I got divorced, a lot of people who I thought were friends just either disappeared or stayed to let the ex know what was happening in my life. So sad.

Similar situation happened to me. My former best friend of 15 years poked her finger in my face and said that I needed to fix my marriage. I was separated due to DV. Even her mother disagreed with her daughter's behavior. Wrote me an email months later wondering what happened to our friendship. 🤦♀️

Yes..I have 2 people...both retired ladies have been my best friends for the last 20 years. one is 72 and one is 66. Love wise older women. 👏👏💙
