I've recently had to come to terms with and move past the fact that I was only drawing for some imaginary audience instead of my own enjoyment like I used to. The second I stopped 'performing' suddenly my art is coming out the way I'm picturing it in my mind. Wild how expectation and the need to create something 'perfect' for nobody in particular can completely ruin something so natural to you.
