lowkey.. dare i say.. it’s a privilege to even be able to pay for someone to check if you have mold, yet alone to treat it. and if it’s untreatable.. not everyone can just drop and move. so then what are we supposed to do yk.?

We’ve been renting a basement for 4 years with mold, I’ve been bleaching every week but constantly feeling sick. Thankfully we should be in a new home by the 23rd of next month if all goes well.

Stachybotrys only occurs when water damage has not been addressed and properly remediated for a long amount of time. This family was very unlucky. I think it is almost impossible to make a full recovery from that type of exposure. I became sick from mainly Aspergillus, Penicillium, and Cladosporium over 10 years ago and have never been the same. I can only imagine what they went through 🖤

I also thought I was developing dementia, but when I moved out it started clearing up. mold is very scary.

Does anyone know of any mold kits you can do yourself to check if you have mold? I think I have mold and that’s why I’m so sick, I’ve called for inspection and they’re so expensive.

So sad, they probably had no idea they needed to detox. I thought I was at the beginning stages of dementia at one point but once I started detoxing it cleared right up. What a terrible story and outcome that could have been prevented

I pray the Lord moves my family and I to a home with zero mold. But unfortunately due to the economy we are in. We go based on credit scores, hourly pay doesn’t budge but the prices to food soar. I’m grateful to have a roof over my sons and I head but I worry so deeply about the black mold we have. I have it the most in my bathroom in my bedroom. Please be nice to those that are not rich you never know what someone is going through. Stay safe yall God Bless You♥️

I lived in a moldy home in east Texas, I had migraines every single day, fatigue, brain fog, memory issues, word-finding, itchy eyes and ears, allergies, waking up with a sore throat. I moved back home to CA and I have felt fine ever since.

I’m currently in Stachy and now having thyroid and hormonal issues (they’re throwing cancer around) 😅 I got so much better….. while also getting worse. 😭
