@mikecaobaby: i had a hair transplant using the follicular unit extraction (FUE) technique where individual hair follicles are extracted one by one as opposed to the follicular unit transplantation (FUT) technique where a strip of scalp tissue is removed from the donor area leaving a linear scar and requiring a longer recovery. while FUE avoids this scar and recovery time, it does require shaving a portion of the back of your head in order to extract the donor follicles which will then take some time to grow back
