My son is 13 and he is a self proclaimed Velcro kid. He is very attached to me. But that just looks like he loves being with me, around me, talking to me, just in general enjoys me. He is incredibly healthy emotionally. Able to process things well. From age 1-6, they develop the most in their brain, so I was sure to be available to him for everything. He know now that all emotions are valid, but not all reactions are appropriate.

Ummm here’s the thing You WERE a Velcro baby and your siblings too nurturing is what I did most importantly when you were a baby it’s important to nurture your baby so was your siblings..Some mental health issues are generational curses but it doesn’t come from mothers who had a child always on their hip or in their arms like me 🥰
